Our story · St. Augustine, Florida
A little piece of the neighborhood.
A lot worth gathering for.
The Outpost @ Old Moultrie started with a simple idea: give people a place to enjoy good food, spend time together, and support the small businesses that make St. Augustine their home.

Where locals gather
Different kitchens.
The same table.
Tucked beneath the trees on Old Moultrie Road, our outdoor gathering place brings independent food trucks, local makers, and neighbors together in one yard. Come hungry, try something new, and find a seat. Everyone can order from a different truck and still share the same table.
Behind every window is someone building a business. Someone who chose the menu, bought the equipment, prepared the food, and showed up ready to serve. We want you to know those people, discover their specialties, and have a reason to come back.
Giving independent businesses a place to grow is a big part of why The Outpost exists.

Justin & Jessica

Founders. Neighbors. Building a place for local businesses to grow.
For Justin and Jessica, The Outpost is a personal investment in the community they call home.
As a husband-and-wife team raising their family in St. Johns County, they saw an opportunity to create a gathering place where independent businesses could reach new customers and neighbors could spend time together. A place with local character, room for good ideas, and real people behind every business.
That vision became The Outpost @ Old Moultrie. Their commitment is to keep building a place that earns the community’s support, one business, one gathering, and one visit at a time.

Experience behind the vision
Justin Tahilramani
Co-Founder
Justin brings experience in military service, federal contracting, and real estate development to The Outpost. His background includes service as a U.S. Army contracting and acquisitions officer, followed by work in land development and public infrastructure.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree from the University of the Incarnate Word. At The Outpost, that experience supports a practical goal: turning an ambitious idea into a lasting opportunity for independent businesses and the community around them.
You showed up for us
Nearly 200emails of support.
A community we won’t forget.
Getting here took persistence
A place worth
standing up for.
When a dispute over county development rules forced The Outpost to close temporarily, we fought for a path forward—for the place we were building and the vendors whose livelihoods were affected. Our community stood beside us. People spoke up, shared our story, and sent messages of support. We still have nearly 200 of those emails, and we haven’t forgotten what they meant.
That fight helped bring food truck parks into a broader public conversation in St. Johns County and contributed to clearer rules for how they can operate. We’re proud of the part The Outpost played, and grateful to everyone who helped move things forward.
The next chapter
Keep building.
Keep gathering.
The best way to honor that support is to keep building a place worth showing up for.
That means good food, a welcoming yard, and opportunities for local entrepreneurs—from our resident trucks to rotating vendors and makers getting their start through Vendor Pass and Drop Day. It means giving people a reason to put down their phones, pull up a chair, and spend a little time together.
Whether you stood with us through the fight or are finding us for the first time, we’re glad you’re here.
Come hungry. Bring your people. We’ll see you at The Outpost.
